Adams State junior Carson Bix finished runner-up in the second section of the men's 5,000 meters in a personal-best 13:44.64 at the Sound Running Track Meet. It marked the first outdoor 5,000 for Bix since May 2018 when he was competing for El Camino Community College in California.
